Submission Guidelines

Thank you for considering submitting your writing to One Bird at a Time! This is a site dedicated to  writers at STLCC-Forest Park, so there are a few guidelines you need to meet before you submit:

• The writing should have been completed while you were enrolled in a course at STLCC-Forest Park. 
• The writing does not have to be an assignment from that class, but it can be. Any writing that you did while enrolled is eligible. (So if you have poetry, photo essays, short stories, etc. that you didn't use for an assignment but that you created while a student, you can submit them!)
• The writing must be wholly your own work. If it includes any outside sources, they must be cited and properly quoted. 
• The writing should be in its most finished form. This is the work that you want to share, so it should be work that you have taken through all the steps in the writing process and consider complete.
